Refresh Your Kitchen Without a Full Renovation

If your cabinets are solid but your kitchen looks tired, you may not need a new kitchen. We replace the parts you see (doors, drawer fronts, panels and handles), made to measure and carefully installed, and keep the cabinets, benchtop and appliances you already have. Serving homes across Sydney.

Same kitchen. A fresh new look.

After: the same kitchen with sage-green Shaker-style cabinetry, brass cup handles and a white benchtop
Before: the original kitchen with white flat-panel cabinet doors, curved metal handles and a grey laminate benchtop
Drag the handle to compare before and after.

Green Shaker kitchen

We supplied and installed new cabinetry and Shaker-style fronts, added extra storage and sourced the benchtop, which was installed by another trade. The flooring was completed by others.

What we can do

Door and drawer-front replacement

New cabinet doors and drawer fronts, made to the sizes of your existing ones so they fit your current cabinets. See kitchen door replacement for what's included and how to measure.

Installation and hinges

We remove the old doors, fit the new ones, replace hinges where needed and adjust everything so the doors line up and close properly. We can also install doors you already have, or replace worn hinges, subject to a compatibility check.

Makeovers using your existing cabinetry

Where the cabinet boxes are sound, we can add matching panels, fillers, kickboards and handles, fitted so the kitchen reads as one finished design, without the demolition of a full renovation.

Is a refresh right for your kitchen?

A refresh usually makes sense when:

  • the cabinet boxes are sound, with no swelling, water damage or broken frames
  • you are happy with the layout and how the kitchen works day to day
  • you want a new look without the cost and disruption of a full renovation.

If the cabinets are damaged, or you want to move things around, new cabinetry is likely the better choice. Our custom joinery service covers complete kitchens.

Door Styles & Finishes

A starting point for choosing your look. Materials, colours and hardware are selected to suit your kitchen and confirmed with your quote.

  • Flat panel fronts: smooth white handleless drawers and cupboard doors

    Door style

    Flat Panel

Clean, simple and modern. Easy to keep clean.

  • Shaker doors: white cabinet doors with a recessed centre panel and black bar handles

    Door style

    Shaker

A framed classic that suits modern and traditional homes.

  • Woodgrain laminate finish on drawer fronts and a tall cabinet panel

    Finish

    Laminate

Hard-wearing finishes in solid colours and woodgrains.

  • Smooth painted polyurethane finish: close-up of white doors with a routed finger-pull handle

    Finish

    Polyurethane

A smooth painted finish in the colour of your choice.

Shaker and flat panel are door styles; polyurethane and laminate are finishes. Our Shaker doors come in a painted polyurethane finish as standard; other Shaker finishes depend on supplier availability. Your quote confirms what suits your kitchen.

How it works

  1. Request a quote. Use the quote form to send your suburb, the number of doors and drawers if you know it, your preferred finish and a few photos.
  2. Choose your style and finish. We can help you narrow down the options.
  3. Confirm the details. We confirm the measurements and specifications with you. Nothing is made from unconfirmed sizes.
  4. Manufacture and installation. Once you approve, your new doors and panels are made and installed.

Final pricing depends on the confirmed measurements, finish and installation required.

Common questions

Do I need to replace my benchtop?

No. A refresh keeps your benchtop, sink and appliances. If you want to change the benchtop or splashback as well, let us know when you enquire.

Will the new doors fit my existing cabinets?

Yes. New doors are made to suit your cabinets, and we confirm the measurements with you before anything is manufactured.

Can you just replace hinges, or install doors I already have?

Yes, as standalone jobs. They are subject to a compatibility check and a site assessment, and a minimum job charge applies. Tell us what you need in the quote form.

How much does a Kitchen Refresh cost?

It depends on the number and size of doors and panels, the finish you choose and whether you need installation. Request a quote with your kitchen details.
